Autumn is the perfect season to visit Europe. Temperatures are pleasant, tourist spots are less crowded, and the vibrant autumn foliage creates beautiful scenery.

Thoughts Before the Trip

Even though it's autumn, Europe is still winter,
so I worry about snow and cold
Will train transfers be different from Japan?

What happens if my reserved train is delayed?
Would I need to buy a new ticket?

Is it safe despite concerns about worsening security?

Once I entered Germany, which is marked in red , the train was delayed by more than two hours, and services were suspended at an intermediate station. I had to change trains several times, and it was getting late into the night, so it was doubtful whether we would arrive in Rotterdam on the same day. I tried to save timeby taking the Eurostar via Brussels , but it still took a lot of time and cost a lot of money.
