Is the trip over already?

[November 11th]

From Munich Central Station, I use the QR code for the return trip I had already purchased to head to Munich Airport, 28 km away.
The official name of Munich Airport is Franz Josef Strauß Airport (Flughafen München Franz Josef Strauß), which is a little difficult to read, so I looked it up and found out that it opened in May 1992 and its official name is named after Franz Josef Strauß, a politician who served as Premier of the state of Bavaria and Germany's Federal Minister of Finance.

I had already checked in online, so when I arrived at Munich Airport I went to the counter to check my luggage, but even though there weren't many people in line, the process was very slow.
Some people cheated and went to the first class queue, and everyone's frustration was palpable, including mine.
Finally, it was our turn, and we realized why things weren't moving forward. Perhaps something was wrong with the system, as everything was being done manually. It took about 15 minutes per person to write the luggage tag by hand and enter the number in the ledger.
While waiting in line, I wondered why the German staff weren't more efficient, but when I saw the counter staff writing the notes by hand, I even began to feel sympathy for them.
I was expecting a difficult 12-hour flight from Munich to Singapore, but when I boarded and sat down, I was surprised to find that there were very few passengers.
As soon as I boarded, the plane started preparing for takeoff ahead of schedule, leaving two seats next to me empty, so I was able to use the three seats freely and lie down like a bed, which was very comfortable. I was so lucky!
Although the flight time of 11 hours and 45 minutes was long, the in-flight meal was delicious, which was a relief.
Departing Europe
[November 12th]
Even after arriving at Singapore Changi Airport, I still had a seven-hour layover before my flight back, so I had a lot of time to kill and ended up walking around the airport looking for a place to rest.

When I visited there before, I remembered there being a long, dark sofa seating area at the back of the food court. Some areas have been newly renovated, and I found the space shown on the right.
At first glance, it looked like a hotel lobby, with power outlets on the tables and some passengers even using the two sofas to rest (or sleep).

We spent most of our time here before heading to the departure gate.
It takes six hours to get from Singapore to Kansai Airport, so considering what had happened up until then, it didn't feel that long.

summary
I didn't feel this way while I was traveling, but when I return home, I feel a bit lonely. (I'm already feeling the loss of my trip...)
