After visiting the cheese factory (La Maison du Gruyère) by the train station in the morning, we returned to the hotel and decided to take the bus to the train station to carry our luggage, which we had had trouble carrying when we arrived.
From Gruyère, we took a train to Spiez, seeing Château d'Oex (station)[a scaly-roofed house], and Gstaad (station)[a luxury resort area], from the window of the train. After changing trains, I arrived at Interlaken OST.
The hotel was about a 15-minute walk from the station, and the bus was convenient for those with large luggage. The hotel, which seemed to have been converted from a main house, was a two-story building with a self-catering kitchen, a shower room, and a toilet on each floor. The shower room on the first floor was newer and we used the first floor from the second day. The owner was very friendly and clean, or maybe he has a surveillance camera, and came from a remote house next door right after we used the kitchen and showers. The hotel seemed a bit old, after all, it is an inexpensive hotel.
