In the morning, we took the 7:28 a.m. train from Chamonix to Vallorcine, climbed up to the 8:30 a.m. cable car, and then went to the Balme Col (Balme).
This is located on the border between Switzerland and France, and many climbers were climbing from the Swiss side.
The visibility here is good and we are immersed in a good mood.
Like many others, we had a cup of coffee and descended the same way we came, taking the ropeway and train back to Chamonix station, where we went shopping at a supermarket and had lunch at the hotel.
On the way, we bought a T-shirt at the "NorthFace" store for 30 €.
13:47: From Chamonix Central Bus Station, we went to le Prarion and took the cable car to the top and back, but the view was not particularly nice.
