I went on a slightly longer hike with a view in Muottas Muragl.
The train station is halfway between Pontoresina and Samedan stations, from where I took the cable car to the viewpoint (2453m).
The hike took me east along the contour line to the Alp Languard (2262m).
It was a pleasant walk with glaciers and lakes scattered across the landscape, facing the red Bernina Railway at the bottom of the slope.
On the way back, I took a slightly scary lift all the way down to the foot of the mountain and walked back to the hostel.
