Today is the first day of the long awaited hike to the Morteratsch glacier.

After taking a train and a cable car, we arrived at Diavolezza (2,984m). It is very conveniently located and buses also stop there. I was impressed by the convenience for tourists in Switzerland.

Unfortunately, the Piz Bernina (4049m) was hidden by clouds and could not be seen.

After descending by cable car, we walked to Morteratsch station and back to the Morteratsch Glacier. We hiked about 17 km, taking pictures at Montebello kurve and other places along the way.
