Offenburg → Interlaken

After breakfast, I still had some time before my train departed, so I took a walk around my friend's house (which was basically his backyard), and as you can see from the photo, it had a very idyllic atmosphere.

I was driven to Offenburg station and took the train, which was 10 minutes late. From there I had no transfers to the final stop, Interlaken station.

On the train, we were subjected to ticket inspections and police checks.

"Where is my luggage? Where did it come from? Where is it going? etc."

It was my first time to be questioned in such detail.

Departing Offenburg at 10:42, arriving in Interlaken at 14:00

We checked in at a YouthHostel near Interlaken Station and bought dinner at a supermarket in front of the station.

My tablet's communication was not working, so I reset it and it connected, but the WIFI still won't connect. Why?

I was in the same room as an Argentinian (21 years old) and two Chinese people.

*Interlaken station is on the right side of this photo, the Coop supermarket is on the left, and the light brown building in the center is YouthHostel.

summary

  • You might think that public Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable, but it turns out that in most cases it's just slow and unreliable.
